          GRAND PRAIRIE HAS A NEW CITY COUNCIL MEMBER AS A RESULT OF THE JUNE 13TH RUNOFF ELECTION FOR THE SEAT IN DISTRICT THREE. 
          ACCORDING TO UNOFFICIAL RESULTS, DAVID CHAPPELLE DEFEATED AMBER TIMBERLAKE BY RECEIVING NEARLY 65% OF THE VOTES. 
          THE ELECTION FILLS THE SEAT THAT WAS OCCUPIED BY FORMER CITY COUNCIL MEMBER MIKE DEBOSKY, WHO PASSED AWAY IN MARCH. 
          DEBOSKY HAD REPRESENTED DISTRICT THREE SINCE 2017. 
          DAVID CHAPPELLE WILL BE SWORN IN AT CITY HALL ONCE THE RESULTS ARE CERTIFIED AND SERVE A THREE YEAR TERM.
