THESE HANGERS HAVE OPERATED UNDER TERM LEASE THAT ALLOWED SUBLEASING NOW WITHOUT ANY COUNSEL ACTION.
TENANTS ARE RECEIVING CURE OR VACATE LETTERS DEMANDING THE REMOVAL OF SUBTENANTS WITHIN 30 DAYS.
ONCE THE LETTER IS RECEIVED, EFFECTIVELY DECLARING ACTIVITIES THAT HAVE BEEN LAWFUL FOR DECADES SUDDENLY PROHIBITED.
OTHER PORT OF PORT OWNERS ON THE SAME LEASE STRUCTURES DID NOT RECEIVE THESE LETTERS AT ALL.
THAT MEANS THE CITY IS ENFORCING NEW RESTRICTIONS SELECTIVELY, NOT UNIFORMLY, AND CERTAINLY NOT THROUGH AN ADOPTED POLICY.
WE NEED A PAUSE LONG ENOUGH FOR THE CITY, YOU GUYS, TO VERIFY THE ACTUAL LEASE LANGUAGE OF THE HANGERS OF THE, SORRY, AT THE AIRPORT.
THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT 'CAUSE THE CHANGES DID NOT HAPPEN RECENTLY.
THEY TRACED BACK TO 2018 WHEN THE AIRPORT DIRECTOR ATTEMPTED TO RECLASSIFY THE TEMPORARY, THE PORT PORT HANGERS FOR TAX VALUATION.
AND THE EFFORT WAS REJECTED BY THE APPRAISAL DISTRICT.
AFTER THAT LOSS, HE CHANGED THE LEASE TERMS AND POLICIES UNILATERALLY.
HE LATER ADMITTED TO THE FAA THAT THESE CHANGES WERE MADE WITHOUT COUNSEL AUTHORIZATION.
IMPORTANT STUFF OR AWARENESS THAT HAS CREATED A DIRECT CONTRADICTION WITH STATE LAW AND PLACED THE CITY AT RISK BY ALLOWING STAFF TO ENFORCE ITS OWN VERSION OF THE RULES INSTEAD OF COUNCIL APPROVED RULES.

UH, WITHOUT DOCUMENTED, UH, POLICY LETTERS WERE RECENTLY ISSUED TO PORTA PORT TENANTS REQUIRING THEM TO REMOVE SUBTENANTS WITHIN 30 DAYS, PROHIBITING ANY AIRCRAFT
