A COST OF SERVICE STUDY HAS BEEN CONDUCTED AND DETERMINED THE REQUIRED WATER AND WA WASTEWATER RATES NECESSARY TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY.
THE FISCAL YEAR 25 STUDY IDENTIFIED THAT A RATE INCREASE OF, FOR FISCAL YEAR 26 SHOULD BE 4.5%.
AN ADDITIONAL STUDY CONDUCTED BY A DIFFERENT CONSULTANT HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND CONCURS WITH THE PREVIOUS STUDY RECOMMENDING A 4.5 INCREASE FOR FISCAL YEAR 25, 26.
UM, THIS PROPOSED RATE PLAN WOULD BECOME EFFECTIVE ON FEBRUARY 1ST.
UM, THIS IS THE RESIDENTIAL IMPACT.
UM, THE CURRENT RATES VERSUS, UH, THE PROPOSED RATES WITH THE INCREASE, UM, THE AVERAGE USER IS SOMEWHERE BETWEEN EIGHT AND 10 10,000 GALLONS.
SO, UM, THEY WILL SEE ABOUT A JUST OVER $5, UH, RATE INCREASE ON THIS.
UM, THIS IS THE IMPACT IT WOULD HAVE ON MULTIFAMILY RATES.
