BUT IN THE PROCESS, AND EVEN HEARING, JUST MY HEARING OF, UM, MOLD, BECAUSE I KIND OF, I THINK I HAD A MISUNDERSTANDING. MY FOCUS WAS GETTING THE ROOF FIXED. SO THAT'S WHAT I WAS BASICALLY FOCUSED ON. BUT IN THE PROCESS, I HAD THE CONTRACTOR WHO I HAD FIRST STARTED WITH TO TAKE A VISIT TO THE HOUSE AGAIN IN RELATING TO WHAT THE ROOFER WAS GONNA DO AND HOW THEY WERE GONNA WORK IT OUT. IN SPEAKING WITH THE ROOFER, I THINK WE HAD A LITTLE MISUNDERSTANDING OF EVEN FINANCE BECAUSE HE HAD, UH, A BANKER THAT HE WORKS WITH. I HAD ATTEMPTED TO GO TO THEM TO GET A HOME EQUITY LOAN. AND SO BECAUSE OF THE STATUS OF THE HOUSE, THEY WOULDN'T, I COULDN'T DO THAT. BUT SINCE THEN, TALKING MORE IN DETAIL WITH THE CONTRACTOR, HE SAID HE HAD OPTIONS FOR FINANCE, BUT [00:55:01] HE HEARD ME SAY ABOUT MY FI OWN PERSONAL FINANCE SITUATION. SO HE DIDN'T WANT ME TO TAKE OUT A LOAN FROM THE P FROM HIS OPTIONS OF FINANCE AT A HIGHER RATE OF INTEREST WOULD'VE, WHICH WOULD'VE PUT ME IN MORE DEBT, BUT I PROBABLY WOULD'VE WENT WITH HIM SO THAT I COULD BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CITY. SO HE SUGGESTED WHEN HE CAME OUT THE OTHER DAY, HE, AS HE'S LOOKED AT AND HE'S REALLY HELP, YOU KNOW, HE'S IN THERE FOR ME. UM, HE SAID, JILL, IT, IT WOULDN'T MAKE SENSE TO PLACE THAT ROOF ON THAT HOUSE WITH THAT TYPE OF MOLD IN IT. SO HE WAS SCHEDULED AND THE TEAM OF PEOPLE THAT HE WORKED WITH THAT WOULD HANDLE THE MODE TO COME OUT TODAY. BUT THEY ACTUALLY MADE IT OUT SATURDAY TO TAKE, UM, A REVIEW OF HOW THEY WOULD GO ABOUT AND WHAT I NEEDED TO DO FOR THEM TO GO AHEAD AND REMOVE THE MOLD AND HAVE THAT APPROVE. BUT ALSO THEM WORKING WITH THE ROOFERS. SO AS SOON AS THAT MOLD WAS OUT OF THE HOUSE, THE ROOFERS COULD COME IN AND PLACE THE ROOF ON THERE, ON THE HOUSE. SO THAT'S PRETTY MUCH WHERE I'M AT. HE SAID THAT HE COULD GET BACK WITH ME THIS WEEK BETWEEN WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, SINCE THEY WERE ABLE TO GO OUT ON SATURDAY TO DISCUSS WHAT NEEDS TO GO FORWARD. UM, AND THE REASONING BEHIND WITH THE MOLD, HE TOLD ME THAT IF THEY PLACE A NEW ROOF ON THAT HOUSE, ON THE HOUSE AND THERE'S STILL MOLD IN THE HOUSE, THE MOLD CAN ATTACH TO THE ROOF AND IT WOULDN'T MAKE SENSE IN EVEN DOING IT.
