WE JUST WANTED TO, UH, PREVENT ANY HINDRANCES IN THE PD AND FIRE OPERATION BECAUSE OF LACK OF, UH, RADIO COVERAGE, UH, RADIO SIGNAL COVERAGES.

UM, I'M JUST SHOWING YOU THIS AS A AERIAL VIEW BECAUSE I JUST WANTED TO KIND OF GET A, UM, KIND OF BIGGER FEEL OF THE GENERAL AREA.

UM, THERE ARE A LOT OF CONSTRUCTION GOING ON, BUT THIS COMMUNICATION TOWER TAKES UP A VERY SMALL AREA.

SO WHAT IS SHOWN IN ORANGE IS TODAY, UH, FIRE STATION 11 THAT IS CURRENTLY ON THEIR CONSTRUCTION.

UM, THE COMMUNICATIONS TOWER WILL BE RIGHT OVER HERE IN THIS SPOT.

SO ONE MAJOR THING THAT I WANNA NOTE IS THAT THIS IS A 200 FEET TALL.

THEY NEED THAT HEIGHT FOR THE COVERAGE AND THE UDC REQUIRES A THREE TO ONE RATIO DISTANCE REQUIREMENT FROM ANY SINGLE FAMILY ZONED PROPERTIES AND ONE TO ONE RATIO FROM ANY MULTIFAMILY ZONE PROPERTIES.

SO THIS IS THE PD.

SO THIS SHOWN IN BLUE IS ACTUAL, UH, FIRE STATION SITE AND THE TOWER WILL BE LOCATED RIGHT HERE.

AS YOU CAN SEE, THIS ORANGE IS A MULTIFAMILY ZONING, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE NO DEVELOPMENT PROPOSED AT THIS TIME.

SO THE FIRST, UM, REQ, UH, VARIANCE IS FOR THE PARKING SPACE TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PARKING THAT EXCEEDS THE MAXIMUM.

SO THEY ARE PROVIDING A LOT OF ARCHITECTURAL ENHANCEMENTS, UM, INCLUDING BARN DOORS, GOOSENECK LIGHTING, AND UM, GARAGE DOOR LOOKING, UM, WINDOWS AND BRONZE, UM, METAL DECORATIONS.

UM, AGAIN, THIS IS FOR YOU TO DECIDE.

THE STAFF RECOMMENDS APPROVAL WITH THE CONDITION THAT THEY PROVIDE A DE ACCELERATION LANE.
