UM, IT TAKES A WHILE, BUT SOMETIMES THESE THINGS, UH, COME ABOUT ON THE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL.
THEY SHOWED THE ARMY COMBAT MEDIC WHO WAS BLACK, AND THEY SHOWED THAT MAN HOW MANY TIMES HE WAS WOUNDED.
AND HE LITERALLY PUT HIS LIFE ON THE LINE TO SAVE WHITE SOLDIERS ON JUNE 6TH, 1944, THAT IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT WAR, HE COULDN'T HAVE WALKED IN THE BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS BECAUSE HIS SKIN COLOR WAS BLACK.
BUT HE WAS ON THAT BEACH ON JUNE 6TH, 1944, SAVING AMERICAN LIVES TO SEE HIS FAMILY IN THIS NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC PROGRAM.

WE WOULD LIKE TO KEEP OUR P AND OUR HOA, WE JUST WANT THE HOA TO MAINTAIN IT SO THAT WE CAN HAVE THAT COMMUNITY, YOU KNOW, TO BE SAFER FOR OUR CHILDREN, TO BE ABLE TO GO IN THERE AND PLAY AND NOT HAVE THE, FOR THE PEER TO PAY FOR THE GRAFFITI TO BE CLEANED UP OFF THE WALLS OR FINDING DRUG PARAPHERNALIA OVER THERE ON THE PLAYGROUND.
SO WE JUST WANT MORE CONTROL IN SAYING WE DON'T WANT PEOPLE FROM CHICAGO OR PEOPLE OVER IN PLANO COME INTO OUR COMMUNITY AND TRASH IT.
SO I'M ASKING FOR THE CITY'S HELP AS WELL AS I SPOKE TO THE REPRESENTATIVE, THE STATE REPRESENTATIVE, AND HE HAS BEEN SUPPORTIVE TO, TO SAY THAT HE WILL WORK WITH THE CITY TO CREATE A LEGISLATOR, UM, TO SUPPORT ANY TYPE OF LEGAL BINDING BY THE CITY TO BE ABLE TO HELP US OBTAIN OUR LAND.
