THE, THE MAIN, UM, KIND OF TRUNK LINE INTERCEPTOR, THAT WOULD BE THE ORANGE PROJECT I AND J THAT HAVE BEEN IN PLACE, UM, THEY, THEY, UH, CONVEY, SO WATER WASTEWATER IN THE SOUTH SECTOR MOVES REALLY FROM SOUTH TO NORTH.

AND THEN IT'S ALL GONNA BE PUMPED TO THE, WHAT'S CALLED THE MOUNTAIN CREEK REGIONAL WASTEWATER SYSTEM PLANT, WHICH IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY OR TRA.

UM, SO HERE AGAIN, ALL OF THESE PROJECTS HERE ARE, UM, ON THE CITY'S RADAR TO BE BUILT AND DEVELOPED WITHIN THE NEXT 10 YEARS.

AND SO WE'LL BE TAKING THAT PORTION OF, UM, CAPACITY UTILIZED AND TRANSLATING THAT INTO DOLLARS THAT CAN BE UTILIZED IN THE IMPACT FEE CALCULATION.

Y'ALL WILL PRESENT THAT TO COUNCIL, OR YOU'RE GONNA PRESENT TO COUNCIL WHAT Y'ALL FEEL THE THE RATE SHOULD BE.

AND SO WE WILL BRING YOUR CURRENT RATES, WE WILL BRING SOME, SOME NEIGHBORS RATES TO SEE IF YOU'RE COMPETITIVE.

ARE WE GONNA BE TOO HIGH OR TOO LOW, UH, ACCORDING TO WHAT SOME OF OUR NEIGHBORS DO.

AND THE, THE CHARGE THEN WILL BE TO PRODUCE THAT RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL.

UM, JULY 2ND IS THE DATE WE ARE ASKING FOR A WRITTEN RECOMMENDATION BY THIS COMMITTEE TO COUNSEL.

UM, I SAID WE HAD TO BE FIVE BUSINESS DAYS, BUT WITH THE HOLIDAY AND EVERYTHING, WE WANTED TO BE SURE WE HAD PLENTY OF TIME.

UM, OUR NEXT MEETING THAT I'LL BE PRESENTING TO Y'ALL WILL BE ON JULY 22ND WITH THOSE CALCULATIONS, RECOMMENDED RATES AND THAT BENCHMARKING.

UH, FROM THERE WE WILL ULTIMATELY HAVE THE PUBLIC HEARING ON SEPTEMBER 17TH FOR SETTING THE, UM, THE NEW RATES, UH, ONCE AGAIN, UH, THE WRITTEN RECOMMENDATION DUE TO COUNSEL BY SEPTEMBER 3RD.

SO WITH THAT, UM, OH, HAVE A QUESTION.

AND THEN THEY'RE ALSO ASKING YOU TO, UM, LOOK AT THAT, UH, DRAFT REPORT THAT HAS BEEN PROVIDED AND APPROVE THAT.

SO ALL OF THIS WOULD GO TO CITY COUNCIL AS A RECOMMENDATION.

CITY COUNCIL WOULD HAVE A PUBLIC HEARING WHERE THE PUBLIC CAN PARTICIPATE IN IT AND PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PUBLIC FEEDBACK.

AND THEN CITY COUNCIL WOULD MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHETHER OR NOT TO ADOPT THE LAND USE ASSUMPTIONS, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN.

THIS ONE HAS BEEN LOOKED AT HEAVILY BY YOUR WATERS UTILITIES AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, BECAUSE THIS IS MORE WITHIN THEIR DOMAIN.

THEY DID GET INFORMATION FROM PLANNING WITH REGARD TO LAND USE AND FUTURE LAND USE MAP, BUT IT HAS LARGELY BEEN LOOKED AT BY OUR WATER ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, PUBLIC WORKS, AND THEN ALSO WITH THE CONSULTANT FREEZE AND NICHOLS.

BUT IT HAS BEEN LOOKED AT BY CREDIBLE STAFF THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING.

SO WE, WE HAVE TO HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THAT.

IT HAS BEEN LOOKED AT BY MULTIPLE LICENSED ENGINEERS, IF THAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER.
