MR. TAYLOR ALWAYS PRIDE HIMSELF AND ALWAYS WAS EXCITED TO COME BACK HOME.
THIS IS HIS HOME GRAND PRAIRIE TO PLAY IN THAT GOLF TOURNAMENT.
WE HAD TO PAUSE A MOMENT AND NOT HAVE THE GOLF TOURNAMENT.
SO ON JUNE 14TH, WE WILL BE HAVING, UM, THE GOLF TOURNAMENT.
UM, AND NOW THAT MR. TAYLOR, UM, IS DECEASED, UM, WE'VE BEEN WORKING WITH HIS FAMILY OUT OF, UM, WASHINGTON DC AND I HAD THE DISTINCT HONOR TO BE ABLE TO HOLD A GOLF TOURNAMENT AT ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE.
AND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HAVING A GOLF TOURNAMENT AT ANDREWS IS THAT THAT TOURNAMENT BOUGHT IN A LITTLE OVER $300,000.
AND RIGHT HERE IN HIS OWN HOME, UM,
SO WE WANNA CHANGE THAT IMAGE.
SO THIS YEAR I'M WORKING WITH MIKE WILLIAMS, HE'S THE NBA PLAYERS ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT.
AND ALSO, UM, LARRY MALLORY, WHO IS THE NFL PLAYERS ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT.
BOTH WILL BE PLAYING IN OUR TOURNAMENT.
WE'LL HAVE NBA AND NFL PLAYERS THAT'S COMING TO GRAND PRAIRIE TO PLAY IN THE GOLF TOURNAMENT.
WE ALSO HAVE COUNCILMAN MIKE DEBOSS, DEBOSKY AND COUNCILMAN KURT JOHNSON, WHO ALSO WOULD PLAY IN THAT TOURNAMENT.
SO IF YOU HAVE SOME TIME, UM, THE TOURNAMENT WILL START AT EIGHT O'CLOCK.
