SO, UH, THAT PATHWAY WAS GIVEN TO PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SOUTHGATE BOULEVARD TO ALLOW FOR FUTURE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FOR THEIR PROPERTIES.
THIS NEW PATHWAY WAS PROPOSED WITHOUT A PROPER IMPACT STUDY OR CONSIDERATION OF CURRENT PROPERTY OWNERS.
IT WAS STATED AT THE PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING THAT THIS WAS ONLY TO SERVE AS A PLACEHOLDER UNTIL SUCH A TIME AS THE PROJECT MAY BE FUNDED AND A DETAILED STUDY COULD BE DONE.
AND I SUGGEST TO YOU THAT, THAT THIS, UH, BIG RED LINE ACROSS MY PROPERTY TO SERVE AS A PLACEHOLDER WOULD'VE A PROFOUND NEGATIVE EFFECT ON MY PROPERTY VALUE AS WELL AS THE WAY OF LIFE WE HAVE WORKED SO HARD TO ESTABLISH.
IT WOULD APPEAR THAT WE ARE VICTIMS OF PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT TAKEN OVER THE ORIGINAL PATHWAY FOR 360 FOR THEIR OWN PROFITS WHILE PUSHING THE PROBLEM OF THE FUTURE 360 TO SOMEONE ELSE TO SOLVE.
